Well after last night when I walked out of the shop after messing up 3 tops, I went back in tonight and came out with this. I hope it's the last one.
This is some of Shane's Lutz Spruce. I highly recommend it.

Nice rosette whats the outside ring made of? nice top too. I have to use some of that spruce on one of my builds (ok so I havnt made the first yet) I do have a notebook thats growing full of ideas does that count?

Zac, The outside rings of the rosette are bwbwbw. This is where I had to repair an earlier mess up. But once I widened the cut I was able to stick another bwb in there. All wood. And notebooks are real good! Might save you from having a week like I did. (But I kind of doubt it. Seems to go with the territory.) |
